As the International Academy’s official parent-teacher organization, PTIA provides many opportunities to enhance your student’s experience. Volunteering and attending meetings are not required but encouraged.​

The membership fee helps sponsor many popular IA traditions that all students enjoy. Plus, members receive exclusive online access to our PTIA member website and online student directory and helpful insights, reminders, and tips throughout the year from veteran parents.

How you can help

Volunteer your time

The PTIA organization is completely operated by the parents & guardians of the students at our IA Okma Campus. We welcome as little as a sharing a few hours of your time volunteering at a single event to an annual commitment to chair a committee. We welcome all IA parents to sign into the PTIA Parent Portal and see our current available options.

Both the PTIA and IA Curriculum offer opportunities for parents to share their professional talents. The IABC, International Academy Business Coalition, supports our students in making decisions about their professional future through panel discussions and providing internships & shadowing opportunities. These are all provided by IA parents for IA students together with the IA school team. All IA parents are invited to sign into the PTIA Parent Portal to join the IABC.

Provide financial support

The PTIA provide several ways for parents to provide the financial support needed to facilitate the many programs our organization offers to the Okma campus. These include joining the PTIA as a member, attending our annual Parents-Only event, or simply using our donate button on this site.
